WAY OF FRIENDS by Renelyn Billones

                Every individual has their own friends. But among of these friends we cannot tell that they are trustworthy to us anytime, because there is no such thing as a “perfect friend”. Among of them I call it casual friends, close friends and intimate friends having different characteristics. Casual friends happen through continued contact, close friends are developed through continued through sharing of interests and spending time together with the same interest in certain activities. And of course intimate friends are what everyone desires, needs, and dream of. As we all know that there is no certain as intimate friend or true friends as of now.
              All of us desire a true friend. A friend, who stays with us no matter what happens, listens to us and is genuinely interested of what is best for us. A friend, who is not pretentious, the one who gives reminders from our mistakes, and would not hesitate to tell the truth just for the sake of his/her friend. When you are in trouble facing a difficult situation, a friend is always there for you. But the reality we can’t deny is there is no such person in this world that would fit to the description that I’ve mention above. I don’t need a perfect friend all I need is a person who manage to make us laugh in midst of trials and difficulties, eases our pains and sufferings through his comforting words. People whom we consider friends may stumble and fall, failure in almost all of their undertakings. But we never judge them, instead thank them for they became part of our lives and they played a vital role for us to become stronger in facing life’s challenges. A friend may not be perfect, but it offers something real that completes the large portion in our lives which is emptiness.
              Dreaming of a true friend is what human’s desire, a trustworthy and loyal one. But even though your friend fails you many times be thankful and always remember there is a person who is true, loving, trustworthy and intimate, a friend that we can rely on and that is JESUS CHRSIT. Unfailing love is due to him. He never sleeps, and never tired watching and caring his children. Let us begin to live this life, let us together seek our purpose in Him because he is our best friend.
