ESAH ESMAO-A True Loving Friend

Everywhere you can find many friends, but a true and real friend? I don’t think so. Now, you cannot find a trusted friend, a friend that you can cry on if you had many problems, a friend that you are comfortable to share all your secrets and pains because you are sure that your secrets is safe with him/her, a friend who is always there for you even in good times and bad, a friend who is always there for you in order to protect and love you no matter what happen, a friend that will never leave you. But I think all of those attitudes of a true friend are only an imagination or we can say only find a true friend in our dreams.

Nowadays in our generation I can say that there is no such person that you can call a true friend. I can say that we can find true friend in our dreams because even our close friends can make many gossips in order to make us bad in the eyes of others. Do you want to know why? It is because of INSECURITY! It is the only reason why backbiters are born, right? The attitude of some people who are very judgmental, I am totally sure we can’t find true friend in our generation.

Therefore we have no choice and we have no chance to find true friend in this world and the only thing to do is to trust yourself and mostly trust our only one Savior and Protector JESUS CHRIST and I am sure that He will never leave us. He is the only person we can trust and he will never disappoint you.

Someone I trust, someone who is there for me in times of crisis, someone who will give advice, understands and treats you as a sister and someone who will push your back when you are about to quit. And that someone is your friend. As saying goes “No man is an island floating in the middle of the sea but you must be a rock were can be found anywhere and everywhere. So as a person you must fellowship with others not only to mingle your chosen friend or your peers. Life is too short, so live life to the fullest.

The one who supports a friend through emotional difficulties is a true friend. He is ready to sacrifice for her friend’s sake. A true friend is someone whom you may know will be there for you whenever you need them. Being a true friend is not an easy task but it will become very easy as far as willingness is concern. Here are the methods on how to become a true friend:

a.     Avoid blowing off your friends secret about his/her crush. If you do it he/she will never trust you anymore.

b.     Help your friend do homework.

c.      Give advice if you found out that he is in trouble.

d.     Don’t be so mean. No one likes such attitude. It’s hard to trust a person who is good only in front of the other people but stabs your back.

e.     Never ever tell everyone or anyone of your friend’s deepest secrets.

f.       Never argue with your friend when he is upset. Just listen.

So as you can see a true friend is someone who will stand by you no matter what, someone who could keep your secret. Someone who knows better than yourself. It’s hard to find a true friend so one must have to work on it so you can find a chosen one. True friends are hard to find, so when found you him/her never let them go.
